Welcome to the BeerQuest Walking Tours Team! I’m thrilled to have you onboard and hope you will find the same joy and satisfaction from delivering guided walking tours as I do.

I started BeerQuest in 2013 as a passion project after spending a few years working abroad as a tour guide and educator. I found working as a guide to be incredibly fun and rewarding. I love the art of crafting a compelling story and bringing it to life before someone’s eyes.

After returning home to the States, I felt a personal calling to combine my tour guide skill set with my love for craft beer. It’s been exciting to follow the craft beer revolution here in Portland, Oregon, and I wanted to share my interest in the scene with both visitors and locals. Before I knew it, the idea for BeerQuest was born!

At the launch of the company, I put everything I had into it. For the first year, I ran all the tours myself researching and developing tour content and studying small business best practices, all while living in my parents’ basement. The business concept started out as a beer scavenger hunt where guests would be led on an interactive quest for the best beer and breweries in Portland.

Although “the quest” has changed a bit over the years, that initial concept is what helped create the tours and company you see as BeerQuest Walking Tours today. We offer unique craft beer experiences that bring the City of Portland, Oregon to life and provide an unforgettable experience for our guests. And our tour guides are the vital ingredient that make each tour special. We cannot do what we do without you and your hard work.

I am always focused on ways to build the best experience for our guests as well as our team. There is an open door policy. I want to hear your thoughts, ideas, and feedback.
